Here is mine:

[root at localhost jack_fst-1.2]# ./configure
...
checking for gtk+-2.0 >= 2.2... yes
...

I remember I had to link /usr/lib/pkconfig to /usr/local/lib/pkconfig to
compile either fst or jack_fst, can't remember which. You may want to
try the same.

[root at localhost lib]# pwd
/usr/local/lib

[root at localhost lib]# ls -la
