[PlanetCCRMA] The planet kernel and rhgb

While building my mythical multisoundcard system one thing has stuck in
my eye while rebooting my PC frequently: the Red Hat Graphical Boot,
i.e. the rhgb kernel parameter, does not work with the 2.4.26-ll kernel.
I still get the old text based boot. 

Are there any plans to include the eyecandy to this kernel or do I have
a problem at my end?
