hi mark
i used the patch and now i get this:
> [mrmachine at localhost mrmachine]$ jack_fst /home/mrmachine/linux-progz/audio/vst_plugins/Crystal.dll

i am able to run jack_fst with Crystal successfully as root - so maybe this is a permissions thing?
i also found this thread, which talks about almost the exact same problem i'm having, but unfortunately the thread finishes before it is resolved:
http://www.music.columbia.edu/pipermail/linux-audio-user/2004-August/014711.html
any ideas? if not, i'll reawaken that thread to see if they found a solution ...
