[PlanetCCRMA] Fuzzy input level......?

Hi there:

Just a quick question. I am running Pd in Fedora on a toshiba laptop. I have
just tried taking sounds from the laptop's audio input. I just made a simple
adc~ connects to dac~ to hear the input sound.

The sounds appears to be pretty fuzzy or clipped no matter how I adjust the
levels in the volume control of fedora.

In addition, the input sounds fine outside of Pd. I mean listening to it
using the Mic slider in the volume control sounds ok. Its only when I have
it down and have the IGain slider up. I am guessing its the IGain somehow
clips the sound. Hope I am making sense.

Any idea anyone?
