[PlanetCCRMA] gcdmaster not included?

as far as i can tell, gcdmaster is NOT included in the ccrma CDRDAO
package, however it IS regarded as a standard component of that package
by the CDRDAO developers (i.e. their binary packages include it). is
there a reason for this exclusion?

to get gcdmaster, i currently have to uninstall the ccrma CDRDAO package
and replace it with the package from the CDRDAO site, right? are there
potential problems i'm missing here?
