Only the tests I ran a while ago with Benno Senoner's latencytest tool:

There is difference between the nv and nvidia drivers. Which I think is 
understandable because only the guys at NVidia know what their DRM module is 
doing. AFAIK the nv driver doesn't offer any 3D hw acceleration and, thus, 
doesn't need the DRM.
