I think you have to change the driver to "psaux" in xorg.conf, the 2.6.x
default is to use /dev/input/mice, which will not work in 2.4.x. For my
touchpad (under 2.6.x) I had to add a "psmouse.proto=imps" to the kernel
boot line so that "tap to click" would work again...

Yes, I have not yet finished (or rather started) doing the FC2 part of
the site (that sould discourage people from trying it :-). You can find
