[PlanetCCRMA] Ardour and Rosegarden

So, I recorded a track on ardour and then I wanted to add a midi track
from Rosegarden. Unfortunately, Rosegarden cannot get to my midi card
when ardour is using it. Alternatively, if I shut down ardour, then
rosegarden will recognize the midi card (and thus allow me to record via
midi keyboard), but when I load ardour, it cannot see the midi card and
therefore cannot see my control surface (not a big deal in my case). 

So, my question is...is there a way for both of these programs to share
the midi on my delta 1010lt? or do I need another midi card?
