[PlanetCCRMA] Csound advice

Since Csound is available through Planet-CCRMA, I'm wondering if anyone
here is using it. I have been trying it, but cannot seem to get to
square one. Things aren't helped by the fact that almost every tutorial
link I have found is broken.

I thought I could try it out by using

csound mywav.wav -W myfile.orc myfile.sco

But this just results in a message saying it can't open mywav.wav. If I
don't specify an output file, it just says it can't open "test". I
thought the idea was to save the file, not open it.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?
