[PlanetCCRMA] No sound from midi apps - what am I doing wrong?

Rosegarden works for me, but the instrument assignments and keys are all
wrong, whereas Muse is OK. I haven't had time to look at it.

Have you tried using pmidi to check basic MIDI functionality?
