[PlanetCCRMA] Problems installing new kernel through planetccrma-core

I'm trying to upgrade my RH 7.3 system to the new ll kernel through the
planetccrma-core_2003.06.16 package in the apt repository, however, I
find that the installation hangs while trying to install the kernel RPM.

Specifically, the install is trying to do a umount and failing. A "df"
shows the following device mounted:
  /dev/loop0 8261692 7311992 530024 94% /var/tmp/initrd.mnt.PpxlBg

and "ps -ef" shows me this:
root 1089 1057 2 14:16 pts/0 00:00:11 synaptic
root 1095 1089 0 14:19 pts/0 00:00:00 synaptic
root 1096 1095 2 14:19 pts/0 00:00:08 synaptic
root 1097 1089 1 14:19 pts/0 00:00:05 /bin/rpm -iv --percent --oldpack
root 1100 1097 0 14:19 pts/0 00:00:00 /bin/sh /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.623 3
root 1116 1100 0 14:19 pts/0 00:00:00 /bin/bash /sbin/new-kernel-pkg -
root 1118 1116 0 14:19 pts/0 00:00:00 /bin/bash /sbin/mkinitrd --ifnee
root 1238 1 0 14:19 ? 00:00:00 [loop0]
root 1285 1118 96 14:19 pts/0 00:04:42 umount /var/tmp/initrd.mnt.PpxlB

Anyone else seen this??
