[PlanetCCRMA] kernel 2.6 vs. the planet

Sup,

I hear redhat has released test versions of 2.6 in accordance with
Linus' wishes.  From what I've read (in a recent linux journal article)
low latency and alsa are now included along with other significant
enhancements.  Anyone have any ideas how this will effect audio in
linux and ccrma kernels etc?  Sounds exciting to me but maybe I'm over
zealous...
