[PlanetCCRMA] mpg321 or mp3 playback from xmms?

There used to be packages in Planet for playing back mp3 files in xmms,
or at least from the command line with mpg123. I can't seem to find
these. When I try to load an mp3 into xmms I get:

xmms: relocation error: /usr/lib/libid3-3.8.so.3: undefined symbol:
_ZNSt8ios_base4InitD1Ev

This sets off alarms in my head regarding the strange prelinking
behaviour of fc1. How do we turn that off entirely again?
