Howdy,

RedHat 9 seems to work great... it's a nice upgrade from 8 and even a
distinctive improvement over phoebe-3.  *MOST* planet packages work
right out of the box (breaks any tcl/tk deps and many qt planet apps
don't work), my advice is DON'T UPGRADE yet, unless you are comfortable
going outside the planet to meet certain dependencies & find shrike
apps (poor Nando gets an award for humoring my phoebe/shrike
questions).
