Hello,
This is a little off subject but for those of you
wanting to install Nvidia drivers, read on.

I have had trouble installing these in the past with
Linuxes and found a solution that might be helpful.

Download the README, NVIDIA_GLX and NVIDIA_kernel
source files from Nvidia.

unpack them,

tar -xvzf nameoffile

cd nameoffile

make

make install

Do this for the kernel file first and then the GLX
one.

Edit the config file,

pico XF86Config-4

comment out with a # these lines,

Load GLcore
Load dri

change,

Driver nv

to,

Driver nvidia

save, logout and back in.

If you have trouble, at a prompt edit the config file,

pico XF86Config-4

comment out,

Load glx

change,

Driver 'nvidia' to,

Driver 'nv'

You should be able to log back in unaccelerated.

For some reason using the source version and compiling
them works better than the rpms.

Best, Jeff

P.S. I have not had chance to test them with the audio
software but everything seems O.K.
