Fernando,
   That's a good start. Since you pointed to Jack, you should probably point
to LADSPA also. I think that would be everything I had to download to get it
to work.

   One difference (for me anyway) is that I have not had to do the ln -s
step that you talk about. I'm running RH 7.3. Are you? If you're on 7.2
maybe that's a difference? I don't know.
