[PlanetCCRMA] jack not running

Fernando,
   Hi. I start jack using:

jackstart -R -d alsa -r 44100 -d Audigy

I then run jack_lsp and it shows me the default ports recognized by jack. I
then go away for a period of time. Later I come back and run jack_lsp again.
(I guess you could call that a new app n this case.) jack_lsp tells me that
jack server is not running. It is still running according to ps -aux.

I am wondering where the jackstart nomenclature comes from. I did not see
that in the jack files themselves, but could have missed it. It seems that
the 'normal' (read non-Planet) way to start jack would be jackd -R .....

Mark

So, is this new apps that cannot connect? Or old apps that were connected
when you left loose the connection to jack? Or both? Any error messages in
jack's terminal?
