I presume that Fernando put that kernel online. I do not know who actually
builds all the software at Planet.CCRMA.

Be aware that Compaq is notorious for doing things a little differently. I

THANKS FOR THE INFO. Downloaded the acpi kernel and installed it.
Unfortunatly my computer is not booting anymore....

Who made the acpi kernel?  I use a Compaq Presario 714EA a Duron from
1.0 G
