Saturday 6:30p-9p
Karaoke-Kan Ikebukuronishiguchiten (by the Ikebukuro Station west exit)
1 Chome-23-1 Nishiikebukuro, Toshima City, Tokyo 171-0021, Japan
Phone: +81 3 5958 7818

This place should have large rooms to fit our group (up to 30 people), they serve food & drinks, and the Saturday excursion will drop everyone off nearby at the Ikebukuro Station at 6:20p (I believe near the west exit). If you're walking out the west exit, just turn right, go a block and you'll run right into it. But be careful, there's another Karaoke-Kan 2 blocks to the right (east) of it (just past the KFC). I'll be on the excursion, so if anyone wants to walk to karaoke with me from the bus, we can get lost together.

If you're looking for even more karaoke fun - Pat Savage & Shinya Fujii's labs are planning on a Friday night karaoke after the banquet. They've invited us to join, but I don't have the details yet. I'll keep you posted. It'll be a bit later because the banquet doesn't end until 9p - so I'd guess karaoke will start around 9:30 or 10p. And it's my understanding that kids aren't allowed in karaoke bars after 11p.
