Housing has just released information about the housing lottery for 
summer 2023 and for the 23-24 academic year. See below for details. 
Application deadline for the lottery is May 4.

Dear colleagues,

R&DE Student Housing is happy to announce that we are now accepting 
graduate housing applications for summer 2023 and the 2023-24 year.

Additionally, we are now accepting undergraduate housing summer 2023 
applications and neighborhood change applications. The undergraduate 
House and Room Selection process will kick off in early May.

*_The Graduate Housing Lottery_*

The Graduate Housing Lottery is the process by which new and continuing 
graduate students apply for 2023-24 and summer 2023 housing. Students 
have the opportunity to rank their desired housing options and form 
groups. Housing is available for single students, couples, and families. 
This process is mostly unchanged from previous years although, due to 
increased demand from matriculated students, post docs will not be 
eligible to apply for student housing until the rolling assignments 
period which begins July 6, 2023.

*_Undergraduate House and Room Selection_*

Applications are now open for students who wish to live in undergraduate 
housing this upcoming summer quarter. Additionally, we are also 
accepting applications from students who wish to change their 
neighborhood designation in advance of House and Room Selection. 
Neighborhood change applications are due by 8 p.m. on April 21. Summer 
housing applications are due April 24.

On May 2, all students in undergraduate housing will be invited to 
submit an application to participate in House and Room Selection, the 
process by which students are assigned to undergraduate housing for 
autumn quarter. Applications are due May 16 and students will go online 
to pick their individual houses and rooms July 10-14.
