[mamst] TA needs for AY22-23

Greetings, CCRMA MA/MSTs!

We have been working on the course schedule for next year and have identified several classes which did not have a doctoral TA assiged, but will likely need a TA. We won’t know yet if it will be full time (20 hrs a week) or half time (10 hrs a week) until we see what the enrollment is. Please let me know if you are interested in any of these positions. There is no need to include a resume or CV or anything - just tell me for which classes you’d like to be considered.

To give you some background, because I know I have talked with *some* but not all of you about it: TA assigments are made by the Graduate Studies Committee to assign all doctoral students who are in their required teaching years courses to TA. When those assignments are completed, we sometimes end up with a handful of CCRMA courses that need TAs but there are no doctoral students available, so we open it up to second year MAs. To keep things transparent, we send out a general call (like this) to allow any interested MA/MSTs to identify themselves. The faculty teaching each course will then choose the TA. This coming year we are actually short a few doctoral students, so we have an unusually large number of courses that will need help - lucky you :)
