aha! I got it! I used the approximation of sin(x) = x twice.. because arctangent(x/y) *is* arcsin(x/y). and arcsin(x/y) = x/y when angle small. ...It's a bit tricky though... -- Hiroko Terasawa <hiroko@ccrma.stanford.edu>
