Did you enjoy the Yo Yo Ma concert?
For people, who got interested in musical instruments of the world,
how those instruments can create such wired sounds, the following
reference will provide information. I had Japanese ones, but
here are the original versinos in English. Stanford library and CCRMA
library possibly have copies, too.
