[LAC-19] LAC2019 at CCRMA

Jumping a bit late into this thread -- war of orchestras totally fine -- I
think a letter of invitation could either

a) clearly state that the invitation is contingent upon the regular
selection process... ("We invite the Electronic Orchestra Charlottenburg to
apply to participate of the Linux Audio Conference at Stanford
University..." or some similar wording)

b) or simply be more ambiguous in the letter and say "We invite member of
the Electronic Orchestra Charlottenburg to attend the Linux Audio
Conference at Stanford University...") -- "attend" could mean either
attending as regular conference participants, or -- should their music
submission be accepted -- participate by playing in one of the concerts.

I think in either case, the letter should hopefully suffice for their grant
application, and the email communication with them should be clear to
reiterate that they still have to send a submission using regular
application process.
