Hi all,

We are extending the deadline for the Call for Works to Fri Jan 19. We are really hoping to get more submissions from you, so please consider sending <https://forms.gle/VYbu4Px1kLDPiuW56> a recent work!

As a reminder, we will have a ring of 20 speakers (+ 7 subs) and a huge projection screen in the Bing Concert Hall.

This residency’s movie pun is CCRMA on a Bing after the old-as-CCRMA movie Man on a Swing <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_on_a_Swing> (see our poster).

All the best,
Constantin

> As you might know by now, CCRMA is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2024. As part of our celebratory Concert Series, we would like to feature all-CCRMA works in our two residencies (4 different concerts) in the Bing Concert Hall. The Winter concerts will take place on February 2-3 in the Main Hall, and the Spring concerts will be on April 19-20 in the Studio.
>
> Along with a selection of 'CCRMA classics', we want to present recent works by students, faculty, and staff. If you have a piece of music related to computers/electronics—whether it is fixed media or live performance—please consider submitting a proposal. The first deadline is January 15, if you would like to be considered for the Winter concerts. After January 15, any submission will be automatically considered for the Spring concerts, for which the submission deadline is March 31.
>
> Works that are finalized or in progress are equally accepted as long as you can provide some sample/demo. If your work is selected, you will have to submit the final files along with info for the program by January 28.
>
> We would love to showcase works that take advantage of our multichannel speaker configurations. But of course any setup ranging from mono to Higher-Order Ambisonics will be equally considered for artistic value :)
> - Winter, Feb 2-3, Bing Main Hall, 2D setup: ring of 20 speakers
> - Spring, Apr 19-20, Bing Studio, 3D setup: dome of 32 speakers
>
> To submit a piece, please fill out this form <https://forms.gle/VYbu4Px1kLDPiuW56>. Only one piece per artist may be submitted.
>
> Looking forward to receiving and presenting your works!
