Hello,

I have an open TA opportunity in January (11th through 22nd). The position is for a 2-week program, teaching the foundations of Artificial Intelligence to very talented high school students. The focus will be using neural networks for audio signal processing and image recognition. This program is run by EduExplora (https://www.eduexplora.com/en/). Most likely, this will be the first time that these students study AI.

You will hold office hours (via zoom, with flexible scheduling that works for you) with a small group of students. You will meet with students a total of 10 hours throughout the two-week course. Additionally, you are welcome and encouraged to attend my daily lectures covering theory, python programming, and math, but this is not necessary nor part of your essential job duties.

During office hours you will answer student's basic questions in three areas:

  1. python programming
  2. math (mainly linear algebra and differential calculus)
  3. general artificial intelligence theory

If you are passionate about teaching and want to share your knowledge of AI, get in touch with me. Just send me an email expressing your interest and why you are the right person for this position.

For your help, you will receive a $200 stipend.

This position is open to anybody who is eligible to work in the USA, so feel free to spread the word. My goal is to fill this position by the end of next week.

Feel free to ask me any questions you may have before officially applying.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Sincerely,
Iran
