I also looked into LSP possibilities (emacs has a<br>
server I think), but I got side-tracked. Back in<br>
around 1989, I looked at CL and Emacs Lisp, before<br>
choosing Guile for Snd. At that time, CL very much wanted<br>
to be the "main program", and Emacs Lisp was not<br>
easily detached from Emacs. Eventually Guile<br>
also chose to be the main program, so I decided<br>
to write my own Scheme. It was only a couple of<br>
orders of magnitude more work than I thought it<br>
would be, and I'm still working on it!<br>
