[CM] Make a debugger in s7?

Hi Bill and colleagues, I have a project I'm working on that runs s7 in web
assembly, which has been working well. However, it would be a big
productivity booster if I could stop my s7 code at any point to be in a
repl. I think I'll need to write a browser extension for the network
traffic between the text editor and the repl, but I'm not even clear how I
can just make s7 execution stop somewhere. Is there an example in the s7
repo or anywhere else of how I can make it do such a thing so I can put in
some kind form that acts as a breakpoint? I'ma a bit of a loss as to what
even to ask the search engines around this.

thanks!
