Linux, and maybe other OS's, caches files in memory.

If you're using Snd's listener, use the tab key when the cursor is
at the end of the symbol-to-be-completed.

I don't understand the question about "repl parsing"; you can give the
index directly to play: (play 1), or the sound object, or the file name.
