To answer your question in the video about a community:
I don't think there is one.  Can you tell what configuration
options arch used to build snd?  Perhaps run snd, and
look at the *features* variable, but I think not all
configuration info gets included there. (I'm thinking
maybe you need Jack or Alsa to get it to mix).
Now I've forgotten the other question.  Or maybe
they're using the scheme repl (repl.scm) rather than
the "dumb" built-in repl.
