I think Mr Dybvig is using r6rs syntax.  In r7rs it
would involve the "import" macro/function and you
could use r7rs.scm in the s7 code.  But that code just
does what you did by hand.  Also, the bracket-for-parenthesis
(or is it any-number-of-parentheses?) is probably
from r6rs scheme.  So, you did the right thing!
Does that code's output look right to you?
