[CM] Cloning of S7 certificate error

When I try to clone S7 to a local repository, I receive the following error:

❯ git clone https://cm-gitlab.stanford.edu/bil/s7.git
Cloning into 's7'...
fatal: unable to access 'https://cm-gitlab.stanford.edu/bil/s7.git/':
server certificate verification failed. CAfile: none CRLfile: none

I could download the tarball, but I'd prefer to clone if possible.
