[CM] compiling s7 with XCode

hi all, I'm trying to get my scheme for max repo into a state that others
can build easily, which means (finally) getting my xcode project into
shape. Currently, I've been lazy and have just compiled s7 with gcc to
produce s7.o and then added linker flags to xcode.

When I try to just add s7.c to xcode instead of linking to a precompiled
object file, I get a bunch of errors compiling s7.c. Wondering if anyone on
the list has experience building a project with xcode using s7 can share
tips? (the reason to use xcode is because the max sdk sample projects are
for xcode and the documentation for the max sdk assumes that on osx you'll
be using those sample projects)
