[CM] snd for OS-X?

Since fink days, I tried darwinports(?) and
brew, and managed to make a complete mess
of my Mac.  I think I have brew (or is it homebrew?)
installed, and with that it used to be possible
to get gtk on the Mac, but the result was
very disappointing.  But that was a long
time ago.  I'll try to get up the courage to
run (home)brew again and see what happens.
