[CM] snd on OSX 10.6.8

I don't have access to a 64-bit Mac, and Apple no longer supports
a machine as old as mine, so I wasn't able to upgrade to OSX 10.6.8,
and loader problems are always a headache.  I think you need to
rebuild gtk (I was not able to build it on my machine), or
find the magic loader flag that makes your current libraries usable.
What was the openmotif problem?  I use motif in Linux all the
time, so it does work in 64-bit systems.
