[CM] Grace failing at start

hey! that really helped a lot!

for what it's worth i actually did a 'yum install libxcb' and got the
updated version of libxcb and libxcb-devel. i didn't recompile or set
envs or anything else. now the grace app starts and doesn't lock up.
