So... in both editors (xemacs and grace) the value of *midi-player* is "timidity -quiet=2" ... I think that cm is actually playing the events that I evaluate from grace editor, but, as the system is "muted" when I run it, I can't hear anything... I will consider moving to Fedora. Does it has a lowlatency kernel as default?
