[CM] cm not loading

I recently updated cm/clm and now cm isn't loading properly.
I'm using the latest planetCCRMA version of cm/clm (cmucl), under 
xemacs/slime.
When I start cm mode I get some warnings:

and several 'deleting unreachable code' warnings.
and then I get a final error:

Type-error in KERNEL::OBJECT-NOT-TYPE-ERROR-HANDLER:  NIL is not of type 
REAL
    [Condition of type TYPE-ERROR]

Restarts:
   0: [CONTINUE] Return NIL from load of 
"/usr/lib/cmucl/lib/cm/cm-load.lisp".
   1: [ABORT   ] Skip remaining initializations.

Common Music version is 2.11.0
Any ideas?
