[CM] midiplayer/windows

can anyone help me setting the default-midiplayer for cm/windows xp/ 
clisp?

when i try
(setf *midi-player* "C:/Programme/Windows Media Player/mplayer2.exe")
or
(setf *midi-player* "C:/Programme/Windows Media Player/wmplayer.exe")
nothing happens.
