Hell Rick,

Adding .emacs as you suggest below, I get:


An error has occurred while loading `/Users/josephla/.emacs':

File error: Cannot open load file, slime

now sure whats up with indentation.
try adding this to a ~/.emacs file:

(require 'slime)
(define-key slime-mode-map (kbd "TAB") 'slime-indent-anything)
