[CM] Getting started again

Hello there

I am endeavoring to begin again with CLM, I spent a few months on it 
about a year and a half ago with ATS, and ATSH for some major cool 
sounds. Now that Rick has made it so usable for OSX i would like to get 
started again.
I am getting some funkiness with playback
(dac) will usually give an audible click (the resulting test.aiff is 
fine)

is (dac) calling sndplay?
