And Snd ought to work -- I occasionally make sure it compiles in
MS C, and once-upon-a-time got it to run using Hummingbird Motif
(a commercial Windows Motif).  I think Gtk has been ported to
Windows, and Guile, so if some kind soul has cygwin and is willing
to go through a debugging cycle, I'd be very grateful -- just
run configure and make and send me the errors.
