CMN on Linux, font question

A half year ago i tried to make CMN working on
my Linux (PC) thing. I could not find any free
fonts and if its possible to use the mac versions
of Petrucci and Sevilla I could not make it work.

I know you can buy the fonts from Adobe but=20
the salesperson here in Sweden could not say that
it would work on linux. If it does not work
on linux its nothing to waste money on, is it?

So to my questions:

Is there a CMN running on a linux-thing?
What fonts?
How to do it?
