wierdness compiling cmn

The gazonk0 file is a temporary file created by akcl when
something causes it to call the "compile" function.  I think
pcl use "compile" for various things like method definitions.

On cmn's size -- I'm not sure how to ask Lisp where the space
is going, but cmn has a zillion methods and instance variables.
Perhaps I could make it smaller at the start by leaving the
instance variables unbound until they're actually used.
