there are currently 67 people on the list. im not sure what this info  
actually tells one, but certainly nothing about how useful (or not) some  
software will be for you! for comparison, the ispw (ircam signal processing  
workstation) mailing list has 40 people and mkdist (music kit) has 182  
people.
