Hi all-

I've been getting lots of questions about FM synthesis and I know it can be
a little tough to get at first but different brains catch on with different
visuals/examples so I have put some resources below-- hope they can be
helpful to some:

FM Synthesis in under 4 minutes:

Sound design basis: FM synthesis

And just for fun/another reference-- here is a video I personally love
where composer Wendy Carlos walks through the basics of these sound waves
and envelopes on her Moog:

see you all and the whales tomorrow,
clara
